Well......we knew it was going to be a HOT one today....but for the most part, it did not feel
as bad as it did in Carmi a few weeks ago.
We'll give it 3 flames - - and thank the LORD for the breeze!!
(MANY THANKS to Dennis, Vince, Kenny and Herbie for bringing the tents!) The battery
powered fans were going strong as we all enjoyed a day of fun and fellowship in McLeansboro.
Despite the forecast for a brutally hot day, over 200 entries packed the Courthouse Square
and we all had a GREAT time! (of course...having a Dairy Queen across the street helped!!)
Many thanks to the McLeansboro Kiwanis Club for once again putting on a great event!!
