2010 Misfits Show Huge Success!!

175 vehicles from across the Tri-State and beyond poured into Leo French Park in Fairfield IL on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend to participate in the 13th Annual Wayne County Misfits Car Show!

The nice warm day and abundant sunshine also brought out a large crowd from around the area to view the many wonderful Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles and Tractors that were on display!

Tom Wins Cardinals Tickets!!!

Congratulations go out to Tom Curry of Springfield, IL as his name was drawn as the winner of the 2 tickets to the Sept. 30th baseball game between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Colorado Rockies!!
We hope Tom and his guest have a wonderful time at the ballgame!!

The Misfits sponsor a scholarship to the Frontier Community College Automotive Dept. and proceeds from this fundraiser will to go toward the scholarship!!

This book contains a comprehensive listing of 2010 Car Shows and Cruise-In's taking place in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio and Missouri.

Club Makes Donations to Local Charities!!!

The Wayne County Misfits recently gave monetary donations to several local charities. They are....Hope Ministry, Christmas for Kids, Ministerial Alliance and the Compassion Pregnancy Center.

The club also held a food drive at their Christmas party with all donations to benefit the WADI Food Pantry. Club members generously donated canned goods as well as non-perishable items and the club purchased Baby Food to put toward the donation as well!

2009 F.C.C. Automotive Scholarship Recipient!!!

The Wayne County Misfits sponsor an annual Scholarship to the Frontier Community College Automotive Dept.
The 2009 receipient of this Scholarship is David Thomason of Johnsonville IL. The Misfits would like to congratulate David on winning this Scholarship!!!!

Club Donates to Scranton Memorial Cancer Fund

The Wayne County Misfits Car Club held a 2009 fundraiser which raised $600 to benefit the Dr. Dennis Scranton Memorial Cancer Fund.
