The 13th Annual Wayne County Misfits Car Show date has been set!

The Misfits Show will be held on Saturday May 29th, 2010 at the Leo French Park in Fairfield, IL.

We are already working on several new things to help make your 2010 Misfits Car Show experience the best ever!

• Game Time:  Thursday Sept. 30 --- 7:15 pm
  
• Seat Location:  BANK of AMERICA CLUB
  
• (Club is located on 2nd level, above 3rd base)
  
• Tickets include all you can eat meal and drinks!
  
• 1 Raffle Ticket = $1 Donation
  
• 6 Raffle Tickets = $5 Donation
  
• All proceeds will go toward Frontier College Automotive Dept. Scholarship
  
• Drawing will be May 29th at Misfits Car Show
  

Raffle is open to the public, as well as club members. To purchase tickets, please contact a club officer or visit our booth at any one of the following locations:
April 17th ---- Frontier College Indoor Car Show (Fairfield)
April 25th ---- Fun Run for Juvenile Diabetes Cruise (Starts at Fairfield McDonald's)
May 29th ---- Wayne County Misfits Car Show (Leo French Park in Fairfield)

Club Makes Donations to Local Charities!!!

The Wayne County Misfits recently gave monetary donations to several local charities. They are....Hope Ministry, Christmas for Kids, Ministerial Alliance and the Compassion Pregnancy Center.

The club also held a food drive at their Christmas party with all donations to benefit the WADI Food Pantry. Club members generously donated canned goods as well as non-perishable items and the club purchased Baby Food to put toward the donation as well!

2009 F.C.C. Automotive Scholarship Recipient!!!

The Wayne County Misfits sponsor an annual Scholarship to the Frontier Community College Automotive Dept.
The 2009 receipient of this Scholarship is David Thomason of Johnsonville IL. The Misfits would like to congratulate David on winning this Scholarship!!!!

Club Donates to Scranton Memorial Cancer Fund

The Wayne County Misfits Car Club recently held a fundraiser which raised $600 to benefit the Dr. Dennis Scranton Memorial Cancer Fund.

1967 Coronet 500

Very rare (only 1,800 made!) 1967 Dodge Coronet 500 Convertible with a 273 4 barrel and an automatic transmission. This car has had recent maintenance including: Flowmaster exhaust, water pump, battery, intake, carburetor, power steering gear, master cylinder, hoses, breather, washer tank, and belts. Car also comes with the original build sheet and owner's manual! This car has had only 3 owners and is an original Massachusetts car!
