After putting in a very looooong day hosting the Misfits 14th Car Show on Saturday,
we went looking for some fun and relaxation on Sunday and found it at Norris City's
"Freedom Rock Sunday".
Well, it was hot today, so that means it's time to break out the ol' Hot-O-Meter
for another summer. We all had a great time sitting in the shade of the Big Top and
visiting with old friends as well as meeting some new ones! WOAH! -- I almost forgot to
mention that we enjoyed FREE food and drinks all day!!!! Now this is our kind of event!!!!
We were also treated to some great praise music and singing as well as some cool
dance routines in the afternoon on the main stage.
All in all, we had a GREAT time at Freedom Rock!!!!
A big "HATS OFF" to Mike and all of those responsible for putting on this event.
I'm sure it was a lot of hard work, but WOW!....what a way to give back to the community!!
