Well....this was a roadtrip weekend for several of us, as we took a 5 hour drive down to
Somerset, KY to partake in the GIANT Somernites Cruise! This cruise-in takes place the
4th Saturday of every month. Each month features a special event and for the month of
May it was "MOPAR Mania"!
Of course, when you go to a MOPAR event you have to start it off with a visit to the....

PINK!!!!
Ladies.....you may want to take note of the optional Lace Trim on the front spolier and
wheelwells, as well as the Rhinestone covered wheels!!!!

Friday night in Somerset we were treated to a great Southern Rock band and got to vist
with some new freinds!!

Then Saturday morning it was out to Don Marshall Chrysler/Dodge for "MOPAR Mania"!!
The MOPAR'S took center stage here, and we got to visit with some wonderful people
as well as view some GREAT cars!!

WHAT!!!!.....a PT Cruiser with a HEMI in it?????

Then Saturday afternoon it was on to the BIG EVENT! This is one of the most incredible
sights I have ever seen. On the 4th Saturday of every month over 1,000 vehicles form a
line, sometimes up to a mile long, as they wait their turn to enter downtown Somerset.
Every street, parking lot and alley was PACKED FULL....there were cars EVERYWHERE!!!
If you have never been to this event, you need to try and put it on your schedule
sometime in the future. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Yes....that's right....you are looking at "your everyday car with a tree growing out of
it"!!! I'm not sure.....but this may actually be a common thing way down in the hills of
Eastern Kentucky??
